UC Application is Due Tonight!

Remember the extended deadline for the UC Application is TONIGHT (12/4/2020) at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time.

If you have not yet submitted the application, make sure you give yourself at least 10 minutes to go through the submission process. You have to click through a series of screens (7 steps total) to provide residency information, give UCs release authorizations, and enter payment information or apply for a fee waiver. For transfer students, if you have a gap between high school graduation and community college enrollment and/or insufficient units (because you are using AP, IB, and/or A-Level exams to fulfill the minimum unit requirement), you will get a screen asking for an explanation.

Are you just scrambling to complete your UC Application now? Find a list of everything you need to formulate a competitive freshman or transfer application and reach the finish line!

Good luck everyone!

If you already submitted the UC Application, log back in and review your submitted application to make sure there were no errors (for couple years, the application system scrambled the “Academic history” section of some students). Contact the UC Application Center if your submitted application does not match the information you entered or if you catch any mistakes in the “Academic history” section.

If you have follow-up questions after you submitted the UC Application, hold off until mid-December to contact me. I will also post something soon that should address most of the post-submission questions. Stay tuned!

Hello, can you tell me if an application submitted at 12/4, 11:59 but received at 12:00 am will be considered late? We had some submission problems. How strict is this? Thank you

You should be ok. The application system has a hidden extension built into it to handle these issues. Although I’m not entirely sure how it works if there was already an extension. I would suggest contacting the UC Application Center to double check.
