Sending High School Profiles to UCs

The UCs have/collect a lot of information from California high schools and that ensures the campuses have a clear understanding of the context from which the students can gain/attain educational success. But a lot of nuances get lost in the process, which leads to some excellent high schools performing very poorly at sending students to UCs (sometimes with <10% of applicants admitted). Out-of-state and international high schools are also at a disadvantage, as the UCs have/collect very little data on them.

Now there is a way to remedy that lack of information: high school counselors may submit their school profiles to UCs directly, through the systemwide portal here and the Berkeley-specific survey here. If you are a student or parent, share this information with your high school counselor!
