Fall 2023 UC Freshman/Transfer Preliminary Admission Stats Released

Check out the UC press release, University of California admits record number of California residents and largest class of underrepresented freshmen in system history for fall 2023, from today (8/8/2023) for a qualitative summary of the Fall 2023 admission stats.

Keep in mind that the “admission” numbers, in most cases, include those offered admission through waitlist (and possibly through appeal).

Below are instructions on how to access the quantitative admission stats and links to available press releases from individual UC campuses (often include more detailed information for that campus).

To get the admit rates, divide the number of admitted freshman students or admitted transfer students by the number of freshman applications or transfer applications.
