Transfer student deadlines and waitlist information

The deadline for transfer students to accept an admission offer from one UC campus by submitting the Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) is June 1.

A handy guide with “next steps” for transfer applicants can be found here.

Waitlist Reminder

Students who accept a UC admission offer from the waitlist and have already submitted a SIR at another UC campus must cancel their SIR at the campus which they no longer plan to attend. The SIR deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.

For contact information so students can advise a UC campus to cancel their SIR go here.

Poor grades earned in the last term prior to enrolling at UC

Admitted students who accept a UC offer of admission and receive a grade of D or F in their last term of enrollment, should immediately contact the admissions office at the campus they plan to attend, to learn if the grade will impact the offer of admission.

Each UC campus provides provisions/conditions of the admission offer; failure to meet them makes the offer subject to cancellation.

hi Ms Sun
Your blog has been immensely helpful in maneuvering through the application process…Do you cover topics around grad school applicaiton submissions? My son is getting ready to apply. He took his GRE (engineering). He is getting references (if needed) and starting his letter of intent…Does your site cover this info? Or Is there a site that you can recommend?

Thank you so much…The UCEAP process was a bit confusing, as well…but I asked A LOT of questions!!

Sincerely
~~ mother with ALL kids in college ~~
…….well one is struggling but he is going at it again for the 3rd time..he’s only 24…thank goodness for Community Colleges!)

My site doesn’t cover graduate school application information. Graduate school admission is very department-specific and requires specialized knowledge (med school apps are different from law school apps, and both are different from engineering school apps or sociology school apps).

I have started working with some students on grad school apps and I sent you an email with more information. Just reply to my email if you are interested.

Any Questions?
