Hello Ms. Sun!

I am a HUGE fan of yours and have really looked into all the wonderful advice you have here. I have a question about non a-g courses. Even though they are not on my transcript, I can still report them on the “non a-g courses” section of the UC app. Would putting classes like “intro to machine learning” from online classes that are not a-g courses help in any way for the application? Thanks!!

I assume these are non-credit courses? You can definitely put them in the “Coursework Other Than A-G” section. Perhaps briefly describe what motivated you to take the course and what you did with the knowledge/skills you gained.

Any Questions?
