Hello! My daughter has applied to several UC campuses and is waiting to hear about admissions. She is technically in-state because her dad lives in CA but she is graduating from a Massachusetts public high school. I just realized that she should have had one year of art and only has 1/2 year. Will this disqualify her from admissions? She has a 4.18 weighted GPA. She also has a chronic illness which she wrote about in her essays.

UCs have the option to overlook missing requirements at their discretion.
