FAFSA Deadline for California Extended to April 1!

Keep in mind you MUST file FAFSA to qualify for federal (including student loans), state (including Middle Class Scholarship), and UC financial aid (including UC Blue and Gold Opportunity Plan and some campus scholarships)!

For California, the FAFSA deadline is March 2 (source). California Dream Act Application for AB 540/DACA/DREAM students has the same deadline.

Confused? Need help? I have information and tips about FAFSA, California Dream Act Application, scholarships, student loans, UC Blue and Gold Opportunity Plan, and Middle Class Scholarship posted here.

Just to clarify, CA Dream Act App is for AB 540/DACA/DREAM students. To qualify for state and UC financial aid (which may include some merit scholarships), you will need to complete the application. Having the application completed will also give you options to obtain loans if that becomes necessary.
