First-year admit rates by most requested major

Working with students interested in highly selective institutions is all about managing expectations. To help you better understand the landscape, we want to share data on most requested majors. For context, note that this year Berkeley’s overall first-year admit rate was 11.4% (before any waitlist activity).

The admit numbers above are not fixed, however, reflect the capacity we have for the current entry term. Capacity is subject to change from year to year and may be less restrictive in the future.
