All CSUs are Test-Free Going Forward

According to this CSU press release (March 22, 2022), CSU Board of Trustees approved the elimination of standardized tests (SAT/ACT) from the CSU undergraduate admissions process.

It sounds like the CSUs will continue to use Supplemental Admission Factors (implemented while testing was suspended during the pandemic) to augment GPA for admission evaluation.

Can you let me know why you only have services for the UC’s system, but not for the CSU system? Is it bc the CSU is generally easier to get in and most hard working kids will get into CSU if they apply?

I attend the CSU Counselor Conference every year and, as of right now, the system has a crap application system (it’s barely functional after two or three years of patching) that I cannot even confidently say I could fill out correctly because of ALL of the bugs in there. Every campus (all 23 of them) does something slightly different with the application submission (within the Cal State Apply system) and the decision release. I’m losing my mind just dealing with the UCs (one application and one deadline for all of campuses for almost everything), I wouldn’t touch the CSU with a ten-foot pole.
